Overview
Sparktel are recruiting on behalf of a leading Irish infrastructure and energy contractor for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and grow its expanding Energy Division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the company's capabilities across Civil Engineering, Solar PV, Low Voltage, Medium Voltage and High Voltage infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Energy Division i.e. operational performance, commercial delivery and profitability.
- Develop and secure new business opportunities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across Civil Engineering, Solar PV, LV, MV and HV operations
- Oversee project planning, scheduling and resource allocation
- Review and approve technical estimates and tender submissions
- Monitor and manage the project pipeline
- Identify operational gaps and implement long-term strategies
- Ensure robust QA/QC procedures are implemented and maintained
- 10 years' senior management experience within the energy, utilities or electrical infrastructure sector.
- Experience leading operational business units with full commercial accountability.
- Strong understanding of LV/MV/HV electrical infrastructure
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and civil construction teams.
- Proven track record of winning work through business development, tendering and client relationship management.
- Excellent project planning and scheduling experience across complex infrastructure programmes.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, forecasting and profitability.
