Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join our client in Co. Kildare. The successful candidate will join the leadership team and oversee the successful delivery of complex fibre infrastructure projects from start to finish. This role will report to the Contracts Director and have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple fibre infrastructure projects across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of fibre infrastructure projects to programme, budget and quality standards
- Overseeing Fibre network design and Low-Level Design (LLD), Local Authority licensing and permitting, ground investigations and surveys, civils construction, fibre cable installation and reinstatement works
- Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
- Chair project and governance meetings
- Manage commercial variations and applications for payment
- Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and specialist subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all quality, health & safety and environmental standards
- Manage local authority relationships and permitting requirements
- Drive project milestones to maximise programme delivery and cashflow
- Maintain project risk registers and provide regular reporting to senior management
- 8 years' experience delivering telecoms or fibre infrastructure projects in Ireland
- Strong background managing civils and fibre delivery programmes
- Experience working with Local Authorities and MRL/RMO permitting
- Excellent commercial and client management skills
- Knowledge of PSCS responsibilities
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent qualification
- Safe Pass, CSCS Site Manager Card & Full clean driving licence
