Overview
Sparktel Recruitment are currently seeking Distribution Lineworkers on behalf of our client based in the UK. Successful candidates will require a B2 Level IELT score to be eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
Responsibilities & Experience Required
- Installation, maintenance and repair of overhead electrical distribution networks.
- Working on low and medium-voltage distribution systems.
- Installation and replacement of poles, crossarms, insulators and associated equipment.
- Installation and maintenance of overhead conductors.
- Stringing, tensioning and sagging of conductors.
- Installation of transformers and associated distribution equipment.
- Carrying out fault finding, repairs and network maintenance.
- Working with underground cables and associated equipment where required.
- Reading and working from electrical/network drawings.
- Carrying out excavation and reinstatement works where required.
- Working from elevated platforms, poles and other access equipment.
- Using specialist tools and equipment safely.
- Working as part of a team to complete planned network works.
- Following all electrical, health and safety and environmental procedures.
