Our client is an established engineering company based in Dublin who specialise in the maintenance and installation of lifting equipment for the facilities and construction industry. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking to expand their maintenance and certifications team by hiring an experienced Field Electrician. Excellent package available as well as ongoing training and support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical service and maintenance on an array of heavy lifting equipment
- Responsible for the installation, certification, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Carrying out work on gearboxes, changing bearings, motors etc., as required.
- Providing expert advice to clients to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
- Reporting on completed works to operations manager.
- Representing the company when on client site to the highest possible customer service standards
- Full training will be provided to work on lifting equipment
Requirements:
- FETAC Level 6, QQI, City and Guilds or equivalent trade qualification.
- Previous experience of working with plant machinery including electrical component, desirable.
- Good computer skills, phone and tablet.
- Good interpersonal skills and someone who enjoys working in the field.
- Sense of humour!
