Role & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Full Monthly Management Accounts & Reporting Packs
- Weekly P&L Commercial Reporting and overseeing Weekly Payroll
- VAT, RTD, Intrastat RCT CIS Returns
- Reconciliations including Bank, Revenue, Debtors & Creditors
- General ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Liaising with auditors for yearend process for multiple entities
- Project variance analysis and cost recovery solutions
- Develop an understanding of all finance/business processes with a view to implementing efficiencies and improvements through proficient excel modelling and system upgrades
- Assisting with system upgrades set out within departmental objectives
Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience
- Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experience using Sage 200 or a similar ERP package, Sage Micropay & Payroll
- Strong understanding of accounts processes for accruals, ledgers and project costing
- Advanced Excel & Pivot Tables
- Implementing ERP Systems desirable# Experience in construction industry a distinct advantage
