Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for an experienced HV/MV Working Supervisor for our client. The successful candidate will oversee HV/MV installation projects nationwide. This is a hands-on role that combines site supervision with active involvement in installation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a small installation crew of approximately 3–5 personnel.
- Carry out and oversee HV/MV installation works in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements.
- Install and commission transformers, switchgear, power cabling, terminations, and associated equipment.
- Prepare and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
- Liaise effectively with clients, site management, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor progress and provide clear direction to the site team.
- Proven experience in a Working Supervisor role within the HV/MV electrical industry.
- Hands-on experience with the installation of Transformers, MV/HV Switchgear, Power Cabling, Cable Terminations and Jointing
- Ability to manage and motivate a small crew of 3–5 personnel.
- Experience on utility, substation, renewable energy, or industrial power projects.
- HV authorisations or switching experience.
- Experience preparing Method Statements and Permit-to-Work documentation.
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Full Clean Driving Licence is essential
