Job Title: Poling Operative C Licence Driver
Location: Dublin
Salary: €40k
Sparktel has an urgent requirement for an experienced C Licence Driver to operate a poling truck and carry out poling activities on site. This role is with one of Ireland’s leading providers in the telecommunications, transport infrastructure, and power sectors. This is a permanent, site-based role reporting to the Poling Manager, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the poling truck
- Building overhead telecoms network infrastructure
- Erecting and recovering poles
- Erecting and recovering aerial cable
- Fitting stays
- Carrying out any other overhead construction duties as required
Requirements
- Class C Licence essential, including CPC
- Experience working on the telecoms network an advantage
- Experience operating Pole Erection Units an advantage but not essential
- Experience working in proximity to overhead and underground services an advantage
