Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to work with our client based in Co. Cavan. Our client is a leading Civil Engineering company operating in the Utilities Industry. The successful candidate will report to the Project Manager and will coordinate construction activities on site,
Responsibilities
- Day to day management of all subcontractors and trades on-site
- Assigning crew tasks and resolving issues between crew members.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to at all times and participating in safety/incident investigations
- Facilitating safety toolbox talks
- Ensuring that all required plant and equipment are on-site when required and all checks are carried out
- Liaising with local authorities
- Overseeing the execution of the work; inspecting and measuring completed work.
- Ensuring all work meets agreed quality standards
- Regular reporting on work progress to Project Manager
- Maintaining site foreman’s log & site reports
- Supervising & scheduling material testing and specialist site testing
Experienced Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Site Management position
- Extensive site experience of civils/water/sewer environment.
- Diploma in Construction Management.
- Valid Safe Pass and/or CSCS card holder.
- Experience using Microsoft Program or similar system.
