Sparktel have teamed up with Ireland’s largest hire company. We are seeking a Small Engine Mechanic in Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
The Role
The main responsibilities of the Small Engine Mechanic will include.
- Carrying out inspection/maintenance and repair of lawnmowers, two stroke hand tool engines and ordering parts
- Routine maintenance of small tools, compressors, pumps, generators, and con saws.
- All maintenance/repair work carried out in full and to Health & Safety standards
- Recording all relevant details, completing records etc
- Using materials, parts, and equipment in an efficient manner
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
- May be required do deliveries of machinery.
- May be required to work between both our Carlow and Kilkenny Stores
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good customer service skills.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Must be competent to carry out routine inspections
- Have fault finding ability
An Advantage but not Essential
- Full clean driving licence
- Forklift training
- Abrasive Wheel Training
- Safe Pass Training
- Manual Handling Training
Salary
