Sparktel have partnered with a leading plant hire and sale company who are looking to hire a Trade Counter Salesperson on a direct, full-time, permanent basis. The company is experiencing continued growth and with great career progression opportunities, its an excellent time to join. You will be in a customer facing role where you will deal with queries and sales from all trade customers. This role would suit someone coming from a hardware or building providers background.
What will you be doing?
- Actively sell and promote all items available for hire/purchase.
- Offering face to face advice with trade customers and clients for hire and sales
- Dealing with customer queries over the phone
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of all products available for hire and sale
- Using the companies IT system to upload and process orders
What do you need?
- Experience working in a similar role or a hardware/building providers background
- Existing knowledge of plant machinery and tools beneficial
- Strong customer service skills
What’s on offer?

- Salary from €35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
