Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Stores Manager to join our client who is a leading provider of technical design, build and maintenance solutions in the Telecoms Industry. This role will report to the Materials Manager and is vital in ensuring the successful running of the day-to-day activities of a busy engineering stores and fleet operation.
Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for logistical management of multiple stores
- Management of a team of Stores Operatives
- Receiving, storage and handling of all materials in/out of multiple warehouse facilities.
- Managing and recording all stock movements
- Responsible for all administration requirements including regular reporting
- Stock management and responsible for ensuring that all stock collections and deliveries are accurate/on time.
- Assist with the management of company fleet ensuring that the stock in vans is accurately logged and vans are kept in good order.
- Managing supply chain stakeholders and suppliers to ensure best pricing and supply are achieved.
Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar Stores Management position
- Team management experience
- Strong IT abilities particularly with MS Excel
- Experience using SAP would be highly beneficial
- Experience managing stock inwards and outwards and undertaking stock management duties
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety Regulations
- Supply chain/logistic or Procurement certification would provide a distinct advantage.
- Must have a Full Driving Licence
