Overview
Sparktel is currently recruiting for an EHS Specialist to work with our client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. Our client is a leading provider of aviation solutions, offering maintenance, modification and support services to international operators. The successful candidate will report to the EHS Manager and be provided with excellent career development prospects.
Responsibilities
- Implementing Safety Legislation and Internal Audit programs
- Regular spot check assessments
- Monitor safety performance and provide updates and recommendations
- Co-ordinate Risk Assessment Programme and appropriate follow-up actions.
- Training needs analysis and development/implementation of training programmes
- Leading incident reporting investigations
- Continuous development and implementation of the companies Emergency Response Plan.
Experience Required
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar EHS position with relevant qualifications
- Experience with Safety Management System preferably OHSAS 18001
- Excellent understanding of Safety legislation and compliance standards
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
