Location: Maynooth (Hybrid)
Salary: €40K-€45K
Overview:
Sparktel are currently recruiting for an IT Manager to join our client based in Maynooth. Our client is a leader in the provision of design, construction and maintenance services for the Telecoms Infrastructure Industry. This will be a stand-alone role and will operate with the assistance of outsourced IT Support. The successful candidate will report directly to the COO and work closely with the operations and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact within the business for IT Support, diagnosing and troubleshooting software/hardware issues
- Installing, testing and configuring software and hardware
- Installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly.
- Preparing IT equipment and devices for all new hires and inspection of all returned equipment
- Monitoring clicks, links, usability, and overall status of the company webpage, landing pages and supporting pages.
- Assisting the planning and rollout of new IT projects as they arise.
- Designing and delivering IT training to staff and customers on systems and project rollouts
- Managing internal projects e.g. mobile phones contracts, SharePoint development, process mapping etc.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong troubleshooting, database programming and software installation experience
- Proven experience using Java script and PowerBI
- Previous experience providing in house IT support is desirable
