Overview
Sparktel are currently seeking an experienced Junior IT Administrator to work an excellent client based in Maynooth. Our client is the leader in the provision of design, construction and maintenance services for the Telecoms Infrastructure Industry in Ireland. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and work closely with the operations and design teams.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the organization’s first point of contract for all IT support, diagnosing and troubleshooting software/hardware issues
- Installing, testing, and maintaining software and hardware
- Installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly.
- Preparing IT devices and equipment for all new hires and inspection of all returned equipment
- Monitoring clicks, links, usability, and overall status of the company webpage, landing pages and supporting pages.
- Assisting the planning and rollout of new IT projects as they arise.
- Designing and delivering IT training to staff and customers on systems and project rollouts
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong troubleshooting and software installation experience
- Previous experience providing in-house IT support is desirable
