Junior Project Manager
Overview:

Our client is one of Ireland’s leading telecoms infrastructure providers. Reporting to an Operations Manager you will look to support in the successful completion of projects across the company’s field operations. You will deal with multiple stakeholders such as network operators, site owners, field technicians, quality and safety teams, equipment providers, senior management and the end customer.
This is a multifaceted role where you will deal with a number of concurrent projects. Using good communication, planning and IT skills you will look to ensure projects achieve quality, time and commercial goals.
Duties and responsibilities;
Delivering quality projects that are on time and budget.
Support a team of subject matter experts and technical field staff.
Delivering projects to specification in accordance with agreed company standards
Aim for best-in-class quality, usability, and cost efficiencies.
Sourcing and liaising with specialist subcontractors as and when required.
Tracking & measuring day to day progress of works as per key milestones and scope of works.
Analyse data to ensure economies of scale, reduction of risk and likelihood of project success.
Support in the coaching, training, and performance of the field teams
Assist in gathering key data to produce reports based on key performance indicators for senior management and customer.
Support commercial and operational leadership in estimating project schedules, effort, and costs based on sound estimating models, best practices, and experience.
Management and documentation of project lessons learned.
Managing client relationships with the promotion of customer focus.
The person:
Level 8 degree or 2+ years in project management/admin.
Strong IT skills particularly MS Excel and previous exposure to project management software programs.
Logical, curious and solution orientated personality.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
Strong team working ethos.
Experience in a telecoms/engineering/utility a considered an advantage.
