Job Title: PMO - Telecoms

Overview:
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a PMO on behalf of our client who is a leading provider of high-speed fiber-optic solutions in Ireland and the UK. This position will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget.
Key duties and responsibilities;
- Develop project plans and associated documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations, progress reports, and status updates to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Managing contractor project meetings, documentation of minutes, actions, deck preparation and ensuring all stakeholders have adequate updates in advance to ensure meetings are effective
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risk, issues, decisions and clearly track and communicate implications on the critical path.
- Working with contactors to review their project plans and ensure they have identified any possible risks
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans where appropriate
Skills & Expertise
- 5+ years experience in managing and delivering projects with experience in telecommunications and delivering FTTx projects
- Proven ability to deliver projects within defined schedule and budget
- Experience with managing & scheduling work with contractors
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experienced in the documentation of processes, workflows and technical requirements
- A history or working with local councils and government bodies
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Excellent IT Skills
