The role:
- The Linesworker will perform duties various structure types of transmission lines at high voltages
- Lifting, climbing poles, trenching for the installation of underground cable, or working in overhead buckets
- Installing and repairing poles, cables, and electrical equipment related to overhead transmission systems
- Working to ensure public safety and electrical crew safety through personal protection equipment and by practicing emergency procedures and training
- Operating a variety of different equipment, including bucket trucks
- Completing electronic and paper reports and records
What you need!
- You will be a fully qualified Electrical Lineworker with demonstrated experience in electrical transmission and have a high-level safety philosophy.
- Safe Pass.
- Ability to work on both wooden poles and towers.
- First Aid Training and MEWP Certificates.
- A current full and valid Driving Licence.
- Good verbal and written communications skills in English.
- Able to travel to various sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stay as and when required.
- Able to work weekends and cover out of hours as and when required.
- €22 per hour for first 39 hours - Union overtime rates thereafter
