Company Overview:

Sparktel have partnered with a leading Plant and Equipment Hire and Sales Company. They provide services and solutions across a variety of industries from construction to events. They are going through a period of continued growth, especially within their Powered Access division.

The Role:

Due to this continued growth, they are seeking to hire a Hire Administrator to work in the Rathcoole Area. This role is for a high-potential individual, capable of working in a growing area of the business. This person will essentially work with the hire team to ensure all administration is up to date and to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained. Industry training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with customer enquires over the phone and via email
  • Developing a good knowledge of the fleet
  • Ensuring all hire orders can be completed based on equipment available
  • Working with the internal IT system, inputting orders etc
  • Ensuring all H&S forms for equipment are up to date and inputted on the internal system
  • Checking in with customers while equipment is out on hire to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Making sales calls to existing customers

Experience and Competency required:

  • 2 years administration experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Fully IT literate and experience with IT systems
  • Competency in MS Office package
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • High level of organisation


  • Salary of €35,000
  • Pension contribution after 6 months
