Salary: €50k-€55k + Vehicle + Bonus + Benefits

The Company:
Sparktel have partnered with a private telecoms network provider to recruit an experienced Civils Inspector/Quality Controller. Our client specialises in the planning, design and construction of private fibre networks across Ireland. They have been established for over 15 years within Ireland and continue to grow their presence in Irish telecoms.
Job summary:
The Civils Inspector will evaluate all completed works including extending duct lines, building chambers and boxes, diversion of services and all reinstatements. They will also ensure that all works are completed to best in-class health and safety procedures as well as quality standards. This position is crucial to our client’s ability to gain payment for all completed works and indeed the release of payments to partner companies.
Responsibilities:
- To supervise and coordinate the work of the various contractors and subcontractors involved in the projects
- Inspection of quality standards of work that is carried out on projects
- Perform routine inspections of site equipment
- Review and monitor projects ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to
- Liaison with managers, stakeholders, clients and their associated contractors and agents
- Liaison with all local Authorities and Government Agencies
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Proven track record in inspection/quality control as well as team management within light civils.
- Good IT skills
- Organised and driven individual
