Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a CTO for a position with our client in the West Dublin /Kildare region. The company is leading EV Charge Point Operator in Ireland and due to continued growth and investment they are hiring across multiple departments. The is a pivotal role for the company where the successful candidate will have responsibility for digital innovation, the adaption of new technologies and overall technical leadership of the business. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the rapidly growing Green Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of cross functional technology strategy
- Provision of leadership and guidance to the technical team
- Evaluating the technical requirements of the business and ensuring the most appropriate solutions are implemented
- Digital transformation and system implementation; systems infrastructure, network, data management and security protocols
- Cross business coordination of technical projects
- Stakeholder management both internally and with external vendors and partners
- Budget management and financial reporting
- Disaster recovery plans, Data Privacy, IT Security and Business Continuity Strategies.
Required skills and qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Senior Leadership role.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS and/or CISSP.
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology projects to successful completion
- Experience with digital transformation projects, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making processes
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Experience in the EV or Telecommunications Sector would be highly desired
