Overview
Sparktel are currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join Ireland's leading civil and engineering company. Our client is successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Ireland. This role will be based West Dublin and requires the successful candidate to be on-site full-time. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for multiple rural and urban utility projects across Ireland
- Regular reporting to Commercial Department and detailing of costs
- Stakeholder Management
- Detailed drawing reviews and good knowledge of value engineering/efficient design
- Preparation of design packs from concept to completion
- Managing subcontracted and direct design resources.
- Delivery of high-quality design packages within required timeframes.
Experience Required:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Civils, drainage, or utilities experience is a must
- Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA), Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and non-invasive methodologies.
- Proven experience producing low level programmes adhering to contract requirements
- Experience with structures, buildings, and general civils, associated with the Utilities Industry
- Experience managing the commercial cost of design and reporting to Commercial Department
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full Clean Driver’s Licence essential.
