Location: Limerick/ Tipperary
Salary: €50k-€55k + Vehicle + overtime available
Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Qualified Electrician to work with our client in the Limerick and South Tipperary area. Our client is a leading provider of technical design, build and maintenance solutions in the Telecoms Industry. This is a field-based role and will report to the Head of Electrical.
Responsibilities
- Performing survey and site visits for new and existing work.
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Providing an on-call service on a rotating schedule
- Emergency testing and repair, fixed electrical testing and PAT testing
- Generator and UPS maintenance
- Ensuring Quality, Safety and Environmental standards are upheld at all times
Experience Required
- Apprenticeship Qualified Electrician with experience in a similar position
- Experience working with DC Systems, UPS and Generator systems
- Electrical survey, repair and fault-finding experience
- Strong PC skills, particularly MS office suite.
- Experience is a critical environment such as Data Centers, Telecoms, Network Infrastructures
- Must have up to date Safe pass and manual handling.
- Proven experience building customer relationships
- Experience in a telecoms/engineering role is a distinct advantage.
