Our client is a leading Infrastructure Services company with offices across Ireland and the UK. They employ skilled field labour as well professional support service staff. The role

The HR administrator will work to support all HR administration within the business. As part of this role, you will also gain exposure to the recruitment process by assisting the Recruitment Manager with various projects. This role is an exciting entry level position into Human Resources and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from a team of experienced team HR professionals.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing the HR email inbox and ensuring appropriate action is taken to support managers and employees throughout the business
  • Liaising with the Recruitment Manager to ensure all new starters receive and return onboarding documents
  • Assisting the HR team with drafting contracts and addendums
  • Using our internal HR management system (CORE HR) to ensure all employees are correctly uploaded to the system and any additional information is uploaded in a timely manner
  • Ensuring employee files are kept up to date
  • Screening candidates and organizing interviews for various roles within the business
  • Carrying out reference checks
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Assisting with other ad hoc administration duties and supporting any HR initiates or projects
  • Skills and Competencies Required
  • A qualification in Human Resources is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using a HR data management system would be beneficial
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn
