Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our client based in Dublin. Our client offers a range of technical security and safety solutions and services like CCTV and Access Control to a range of industries worldwide. The successful candidate will report to the HSEQIS Manager.
Responsibilities
- Generating Health and Safety reports
- General Administration support for the Health and Safety team
- Training and development of field staff and other colleagues
- Investigating safety incidents and developing reports
- Implementing policies and procedures related to health and safety.
- Point of contact in case of emergency situations.
- Monitoring overall safety performance.
- Ensuring that all health and safety documentation is up to date compliant and available.
Experience Required
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar Health and Safety position in a commercial or construction environment
- Relevant Health and Safety Qualification or Certification
- Proven experience performing risk assessments and H&S audits.
- Experience of dealing with external contractors and regulatory bodies.
- A valid safe pass would be an advantage
