The company: 

Our client is an established infrastructure company with circa 300 staff. These are a mix of back office, project management professionals as well as skilled technical field staff. The company continues to grow to meet the demand of a buoyant infrastructure industry in Ireland. 

Role Overview:  
In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the company against employee relations issues, legal challenges, and HR inefficiencies. Reporting directly to the COO, you will ensure full compliance with employment law while developing and coaching our small HR administration and support team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations and legal matters to protect the company’s interests.
- Develop and implement HR policies and practices that ensure compliance with current employment law.
- Assess and mitigate risks related to HR practices, ensuring a proactive approach to potential issues.
- Mentor and develop the HR admin and support team, enhancing their skills and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Human Resources, particularly in employee relations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and coach HR teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
