Overview
Sparktel are currently recruiting for a Substation Designer based in Donegal on behalf of our client. Our client is a leader in the construction and maintenance of Ireland Power network.
Experience Required
- 4+ years Substation Design experience
- Experience in 38kv to 110kV or higher voltage design, including substation and HV cable design.
- Strong experience in the design of substations, including layout planning, protection & control and earthing design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or Eplan and understanding of protection and control schemes.
- Strong understanding of HV plant equipment
- Experience in preparing and reviewing Protection Studies and Earthing Reports
- Ensure all designs meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
